You might remember back in the 1986 World Cup, yes, the one where Argentina won, that it was the first time Canada ever got into the world cup. And it will probably be the last time, if Canada can focus more on soccer than hockey. What makes me think Canada will not make 2014? Well, just look at their previous game against Honduras. At half time they were losing 4-0. Can you guess the full time scorline? It was 8-1. Sorry, Canadian players and coaches, but if you want to ever want make it to the world cup, you have to start training.
