Republic of Ireland is considered a hopeless team, but they have fought well to get a 1-1 result against England. Shane Long scored the opener on Joe Hart, the English goalkeeper, but Frank Lampard scored the equalizer midway through half time. Even though there were some chances in the second half, neither team could find a winner.
