Many thought Paul Scholes was going to retire for good in 2011, but now he says he is hanging up his boots for good. The upcoming match will be his 498th appearance for Manchester United. Sir Alex Ferguson, the Manchester United manager comments about Scholes retirement: "Paul is a truly unbelievable player. He has always been fully committed to this club and it has been a privilege to work with him all these years."
