The U-20 World Cup is an important World Cup, as it shows which team might be the greatest in the future. The third place playoff was between Ghana and Iraq. The game was very one sided, Attamah scoring for Ghana in the 35th, Then Assifuah scoring the second just before the end of the first half. Iraq had to go into the second half 2-0 down. Ghana continued their dominance in the second half, scoring the last goal in the 78th. The final was very tight, the game being between France and Uruguay. The game was 0-0 until the penalty shoot out. France defeated Uruguay easily 4-1 in the shootout, winning France the U-20 World Cup. The player to earn the Golden Ball was Pogba, from France. Assifuah from Ghana earned the Golden Boot, and De Amora from Uruguay won the Golden Glove. The team to win the Fair Play Award was Spain.
