Liverpool were favorites today to win three points in Anfield, especially after showing amazing form, now first in the EPL table. Liverpool were on the front foot in the first half, and were definitely in the front foot in the second half as well. Liverpool had a lot of shots, but none went into the back of the net. Eventually Southampton got an easy goal from a corner kick, but even though Liverpool lost, they are still first place.
